Some tools on this site (developer utilities, spreadsheet/archive tools, and format converters) run entirely in your browser — files never leave your device. Other tools (most PDF, image and Word tools) send your file to our server to generate the result: the file is held in memory only for the duration of that request and is never written to disk or stored afterward. We do not scan, read, or use file contents for any purpose other than the conversion you requested.

Before going to production, replace this page with your actual policy and make sure it matches whatever the code does at that time — if background job processing or persistent storage is added later (see ConversionJob/FileUpload in the Prisma schema), this page needs to be updated to describe the real retention window, not a placeholder one.
